QUESTION: DO THEY HAVE THE LIQUID IN THE PAD?
• No, the liquid cleaner comes from a bottle that is attached to the stick and released as a "jet" when you push the button.
• Hi Laura, No, the liquid is not in the pad. The liquid comes from the WetJet cleaning solution that is "inserted" into the canal that is "in" the Swiffer WetJet "hardware". Let me explain this much more clearly. First off, you buy the WetJet itself. That is the hardware. Then you buy the WetJet cleaning solution which comes in a container suitable to fit the WetJet that you just bought. There's a cavity in the WetJet itself that is FOR the cleaning solution to be inserted. The "pads" are put onto the bottom of the WetJet. That's the area that actually hits the floor. These pads are perfectly suitable for "sticking" to the bottom of the WetJet. One side of the pad is for the purpose of sticking to the bottom of the WetJet and the other side of the pad it suitable for cleaning your floors. The WetJet has a little "press button" on the handle, and when you press down on that button, there's a spray (which co mes from the cleaning solution) directly out the front of the WetJet near where the pad has been placed. You press on this button; the spray comes out; you proceed to go forwards and backwards with your WetJet (sort of like vacuuming) and the pad picks up the dirt from your floor. Your pad is "full" when you can no longer see any "white" on the bottom of the pad (that portion that actually hits the floor). When you can no longer see any "white", your pad is full. You pull it off and throw it away. Then put on a new pad. I'm pretty sure the WetJet comes fully packed with the batteries needed. There's quite a few batteries. Does all this information help? :) Annette
• No. They are dry pads that you use with a Swiffer that holds a bottle of cleaner. You spray first, then use the pad. It's usually pretty wet by the time you're through, but it starts out dry.
• no they do not, they have the liquid in the bottle attached to the mop. i love the wet jet as it does a great job on the floors.

QUESTION: HOW DO I MAKE MY OWN REFILLS
• I have no idea, suggest you goggle the question
• I have allergies so my husband opened the bottle on the handle and we refill with vinegar, water, works great
• This is not a product that you would make your own refills for. These are pre-wetted clothes.

QUESTION: CAN THIS NEW PAD WITH MR.CLEAN BE USED ON HARD WOOD FLOORS? I HAVE USED THE MR. CLEAN SPONGE ON STAINED WOOD MOLDING AND IT TOOK OFF THE FINISH !
• According to the box, it is safe on Finished Wood and Laminate floors.
• The mister clean part is only a slightly more heavy duty part of the pad. I do not think it would create the same issue as the sponge which is meant to be highly but gently abrasive, this is not. Make sure you are using the liquid for wood floors though. IMO based upon my experience these should not be an issue, but I have tile and can not really say for sure what affect they will have.
• I have used it on my wood floors without any issue. My wood floors have a couple coats of polyurethane to protect the wood.

QUESTION: 5.5X17 WET PADS?
• 4.75 x 10.5. Mop size..edges hang over
• they r dry--made for swiffer wetjet mop--fits new and old SPRAYING wetjet mop -- stickS to bottom by placin mop on like velcro if thats is question
• It says on the box 11.3x 5.4 they are the usual size for a swiffer wet jet

QUESTION: HOW DO THEY FASTEN TO SWEEPER?
• You just have to take the pad out of the box, and just place it onto the black strips that are on the sweeper. (DONT REMOVE ANYTHING FROM THE PADS, otherwise it wont stick, I made that mistake the first time I used it).
• The sweeper itself has a Velcro like attachment system and the pads stick directly to it. It holds up really well I must say.
• It's like a Velcro on the pad you simply lay the pad on the floor and place the sweeper over it and it's on and ready to use very simple and awesome way to make cleaning easier.
• Magic
• There are Velcro type strips that stick to the sweeper. It is the type of sweeper that has the spray bottle.

QUESTION: IS THIS SAFE FOR PERGO?
• I use it on Pergo all the time and have not seen any problems. I don't know the official answer but we been using it for over a year
• My Pergo has a sealant on it so damp mopping mine is safe. I would try a small area in a closet brfore doing the whole floor.

QUESTION: DO PADS NEED TO BE REPLACED AFTER EACH USE?
• I always discard mine after each use. Also, FYI, I've found no special difference between the regular swifter pads and the Mr. Clean ones... Regular are cheaper & work the same...
• Not necessarily. It really depends how dirty the area is. I generally change it once the entire pad is dirty.
• after 1 or 2 uses. does not work too well - recommend not buying this.
• they where wrong one, and i had no way to us them,
• Yes.
• Most of the time I replace after each use, but I have a lot of floors!
• that is the preferred method, depending on how dirty the floor is
• I do. They are damp and dirty.

QUESTION: DOES THIS WORK THE O-CEDAR PROMIST MICROFIBER SPRAY MOP
• I don't know/
• If that mop requires the cloth to wrap around the sides/top then I would say no. These stick to the bottom of the swifter wet jet mop by two strips that work similar to Velcro or a light adhesive.

QUESTION: DOES IT WORK ON MARBLE FLOORS WITHOUT SCRATHING?
• yes very good on any type of floor very easy to use...
• Since I don't have marble floors, I can't say if it will scratch or not. There's a strip on the pad for getting tough dirt off, but it isn't gritty really. My dogs have done more damage to my cheapy wood floors over the years than this pad could.
• I only have an all tile floor and it doesn't scratch it, so I imagine that it would be fine on marble.
• absolutely

QUESTION: DOES IT CONTAIN BLEACH?
• no it does not
• Perhaps you're thinking about the Swiffer pads that are already wet. These Swiffer WetJet Pads are dry pads. Therefore, they do not contain any bleach.I hope this answers your question.
• no

QUESTION: DOES IT HAVE A SCENT? WE HAVE SOMEONE VERY SENSITIVE TO SCENTS.
• Hello, the pads themselves have no sent. Just make sure the liquid bottles are no scents. In my experience the plain blue one has less of a scent.
• The pads don't have any scent, but the cleaner you use will have.
• You can hack the bottles and add solution of your choosing. The scent bothers me too. Google "swiffer wet jet hack" for instructions. Very simple.

QUESTION: WHICH SIDE OF THE PAD FACES THE FLOOR BLUE STRIP OR NOT??
• The blue side will go on the floor. The two little purple swiffer stripes on the back will be the part that attaches to the swiffer.
• Blue strip is to touch the floor

QUESTION: DOES IT LEAVE THE FLOOR DAMP
• It will leave a wet spot but it dries very quickly.
• Yes, for a short while.
• Yes, kind of like mopping does - it leaves the floor slightly wet and dries pretty quickly
• For about 15 min. - then the wetness dries off/ Turn an overhead light on and its quicker.
• yes for a short while
• It just like furniture polish for the floors. I really like using it for my floors.

• You mean the wet ones? Might stick. Since it's battery run, no chance of electrocution.
• you can but not a good idea, i love the wet jet it really does a good job
#Swiffer_Wetjet

QUESTION: IS THIS ITEM FOR THE ACTUAL MOP OR IS IT FOR JUST REFILL PADS?
• They are the refill pads for the actual mop. I hope this answers your question.
• This is just for the refill pads. There is a listing for the complete starter set with the mop, small bottle of cleaning solution and a few pads listed separately. This is only for the pads.
• It's just the refills.
• Refill pads only.
