This report about the Swiffer WetJet Wood Floor Cleaner answers these questions
• Can the Swiffer wet jet be used on laminate floors?
• Can this be used on pine flooring? I'm pretty sure pine is not considered a hardwood.
• How to use
• Does the top of this bottle screw off? I have an ocedar mop with a refillable bottle on it and i'm looking for a cleaner I can use in that.
• What's the difference between this and the regular solution which also says it works on wood?
• Does product contain any wax?
• I find this confusing. The bottle of cleaner says refile on it but it doesn't appear there is anyway to put more cleaner in the bottle?

QUESTION: CAN THE SWIFFER WET JET BE USED ON LAMINATE FLOORS?
• It works beautifully on mine. However, when I run out, I plan to use either 409 or Windex bought bulk from Costco or Amazon. As long as you wipe it up in a reasonably short time it works just as well and is a lot less expensive. Dry with a paper towel immediately after
• I would not use Swiffer Wet Jet on ANY type of wood floor. It leaves a horrible smeary coating that is impossible to remove. I have mopped with hot water, Bona floor cleaner and finally had to use mineral spirits on a rag to get it off. Now my floors look dull! Don't do it!
• It can be used on about any hard surface, including laminate. Just be sure to use the appropriate solution. I use the wood floor solution.
• I don't have any laminate floors, just wood. I don't know why it wouldn't work, but I would first look at the sprays that are available and see if there is one for laminate floors. If there is, then the wet jet should work just fine. I love mine.
• you can. pretty much this solution has designed for all wood flooring

QUESTION: CAN THIS BE USED ON PINE FLOORING? I'M PRETTY SURE PINE IS NOT CONSIDERED A HARDWOOD.
• Technically, you are correct because pine and all conifer trees are softwoods. But it is not a very abrasive cleaner, and you should be fine. Especially if you a solid polyurethane or lacquer layer.
• I would do not use it on anything but tile surfaces.
• yes,if it is sealed .

QUESTION: HOW TO USE
• Insert 4 AA batteries in compartment and lock shut. (Under where bottle goes) Insert bottle until it clicks into place. Place Pad on bottom of mop and then use button at front of handle (easy to accidentally push)to squirt cleaning solution onto floor. 415-550-0840 Claude
• This both mops and shines and is the best wood product I have found. Insert the wood floor cleaner upside down with the wide part facing out and push and click. Use only the wood floor pads! just press the button on the handle and away you go. Hint: there is no cap on the bottle!
• Kind of vague. I'll try to cover everything. You use Swiffer Wet-jet to mop your floor. You just stick the refill into the slot on the handle. It only fits one way, with the opening pointing down and the wider side furthest from the handle. Just put the pad on the bottom with the white side down and the Velcro like bit on top. If it doesn't just stick, check for fuzz or hair on the bottom of the swiffer. Then just press the button on top of the handle to spray the cleaner and mop.

QUESTION: DOES THE TOP OF THIS BOTTLE SCREW OFF? I HAVE AN OCEDAR MOP WITH A REFILLABLE BOTTLE ON IT AND I'M LOOKING FOR A CLEANER I CAN USE IN THAT.
• I never try for that, I donot know . Sorry
• Yes it does

QUESTION: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS AND THE REGULAR SOLUTION WHICH ALSO SAYS IT WORKS ON WOOD?
• I don't know , may be this one with fragrance and other has no fragrance .
• I have natural hard wood floors that are 50 years old. This works better than the regular solution which is used more for synthetic wood flooring.
• This one is made specifically for wood, probably a different formula. It does a nice job of cleaning, doesn't leave a shine, though.
• Reveals the natural beauty of your wood floors
• Having accidentally gotten some of this on a pillow, this seems to have an oil of some sort in it. Presumably its to keep your wood from drying. I like the smell of this better than the tile floor stuff too. And having also gotten some of the tile stuff on wood, I notice the wood looks shiny after this stuff and dull after the other.

QUESTION: DOES PRODUCT CONTAIN ANY WAX?
• No. Contains cleaner, water and perfume.
• I don't think so. However, I have changed to Bona system. Rewashable pads instead of new boxes. Hardwood floors are kept well.

QUESTION: I FIND THIS CONFUSING. THE BOTTLE OF CLEANER SAYS REFILE ON IT BUT IT DOESN'T APPEAR THERE IS ANYWAY TO PUT MORE CLEANER IN THE BOTTLE?
• The box comes with 6 refill bottles. Each time a bottle is finished you replace it with a refill bottle
• It's a refill for the mop. They don't sell fluid refills. These are what you buy to work with the mop
• You pull off the existing empty bottle and this one snaps in in its place. And yes, it's about 2-3 larger than the one that comes with the mop so it does make the mop notably heavier. Should only be a concern for people with small hands/wrists.
• I think you just buy a new bottle and attach it to the Swifter mop. Each new bottle is a refill for the mop.
